Help with this one please...the I and top of the L in Liberty look split/doubled to me...theres a lot going on with this coin.

***Another learning experience...the glare from the light made it look like that...normal coin...baldee needs to take a camera class...sorry***

TOO MUCH GLARE!

Hello baldee,

Is there anyway to get a picture without lots of glare?
Maybe defuse the light by using a piece of typing paper between the light source and coin.

levelsofmadnes...I need to take some camera lessons...yes it was the glare thanks for pointing that out

If the light was a little closer shinning down on the coin, it will remove un-wanted long shadows and glare off the sides of the devices. Here is what is happening with the direction of the light source.

Having the light over as close to center would help you images a lot. If place the paper towel a bit further away from the bulb, you might avoid a fire easier:
