But actually the collector got nothing from it, since his / her coins are still in box or display. When they will be sold - yes, some extra money to the pocket. It's always interesting to look back and see how RCM coins have fared on the secondary market. I only pay attention to two coins on your list, the Celebration of the Arts SD and Plasma Polar Year $20 coin. I agree that the Arts SD sells for more than its issue price of $55 CAD, but I often see the plasma coin sell for about half of its $250 CAD issue price. I like the design of the Polar Year coin and have the plain silver proof version. The price will have to drop a bit more before I would consider buying the plasma version.
