I found this coin in rolls hunting I have notice below the chin and on the back of the hair a double line. Now if it is a Machine Doubling can be done in two different directions ? I hope you can understand what I mean. I don't really have a knowledge to understand how its done.

It is Machine Doubling and the only rule for Machine Doubling that it follows it that it reduces the devices. It can happen in one direction or several. It only obeys one rule. I found examples from the same dies, dame machine and found it doesn't even strike the same time each time.
