I found this coin today with multiple d clasing. D all over his face ect with smooth edges. Do I have anything here? Weight 2.0

We really would be able to help out by having access to photos of BOTH sides. But don't assume coin photography is overwhelmingly complex.

Without knowing more details of your particular situation it could be that your issue is with the camera and its interface with the computer. Anyhow, here is some helpful data to consider that can only serve to enhance your end product photo irrespective of the equipment in use.

If you have access to a smartphone camera, you are half the way there. The other main keys are steadiness(avoiding movements when snapping the shot) and appropriate lighting.

Here is a quick and efficient means to start off with an inexpensive camera setup. You do not even need to use a computer.

It happens to be the 5th most viewed of all topics ever discussed in the "Coin Photography, Image Editing, and Related Software" forum. Smartphone cameras will always improve with each new generation but the concepts discussed in this thread will still apply for the most part.
