I'm pretty certain it's not. Someone on this sight has a photo example of DD ears. Perhaps they will post it here and you can see all of the major DD ear listings. It is certainly one to look for though! As far as I'm aware, there is only one known for the 1988 Philadelphia penny. Keep searching!

Notice Coop's picture. True doubling 'adds to' devices. Yours takes away. Imagine the metal below the 'line' you see completely gone, and then compare that imaginable image to coops normal coin illustration. Your coin's lobe would be half the size as normal.
