My name is Tanner, my wife and I are amateur collectors. We don't have the largest collection, mostly just several basic books (the cheap cardboard ones) that are nearly complete. We also have some silver and plenty of copper. A lot of it has been acquired through my work as a teller in banking, and I've been in that field for about 3 years.

My favorite coins are the full-size dollar coins, like Ikes and Peace. I just love how hefty they feel. To me, they feel like an actual coin, like it actually means something in terms of value instead of just being a piece of metal.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I would love to get more involved in this community.

Hello-From-Southern-Utah!

Southern Utah is fabulously scenic country. Some of my fondest memories as a youngster are of our family vacation to Zion Nat'l Park.

Welcome to you both! What you've described is how the vast majority of collectors began. With cardboard albumns. Happy hunting.
