Hello all. I'm new here and somewhat new to coin collecting. I just wanted to pop in real quick and introduce myself.

I'm a 43 year old father of 3 from Central Texas and just recently got back into coin collecting. Years ago in high school and on into college, I collected a bit. I mainly focused on coin roll hunting to fill my Whitman albums and then purchased 1oz Silver coins from around the world (i.e. ASE's, Maple Leafs, Pandas, etc...). Toward the end of my college career, I cashed everything in due to a shortage of cash flow. Since then, coin collecting has always held a place in my heart, but with kids now and a family to support, I couldn't justify investing the money into a hobby for myself. Now that my youngest is moved out, my wife and I have a little more disposable income, and I've started to get back into the hobby I loved so much as a kid. I actually stumbled across a YouTube channel called Rob Finds Treasure, and his coin roll hunts reminded me of the fun I had. The next day I went and picked up some albums and grabbed $100 in quarter rolls to begin my journey. This yielded 1 silver quarter, and that was enough to hook me. The following weekend I stopped by my local pawn shop l, and he had an nice assortment of beautiful ASE's for a flat $20 any year. I went ahead and picked up 5 to start my collection. Now I'm back into the hobby with both feet, and couldn't be more excited.
