My father-in-law gave us his coin collection and I'm stumped on this one... at first I thought Arabic, then Egyptian, or possibly Moroccan.
I'm most likely off!

Yes. British India, Bengal Presidency, in the name of the Mughal emperor Shah 'Alam II. "Year 37" is apparently a frozen date.
