1949 D Lincoln Wheat Cent Clash Or Multiple Strikes? MM D/D/D?

Valhallabound Valued Member United States 108 Posts	Posted 08/01/2019 03:34 am I noticed what I thought was a die chip in the MM so when I looked closer I noticed what looked like other devices in the wrong places like a c or another ear to the NE of the ear and the bow tie looked off as well as other clash marks on the reverse.it looks like a partial wheat leaf in his hair, an e in one beside the o of one etc. Let me know if anyone else sees what I'm seeing or if its just PMD. Spence Moderator United States 34426 Posts	Posted 08/01/2019 03:40 am @vb, I do see the slightly broken post for the center of the mintmark, but otherwise, all I'm seeing is normal circulation wear and Pareidolia. Good eyes by the way catching the broken post with so little of it having been missing. Normally we see coins here when the posts were completely or at least mostly broken.
