Unfortunately a series date and denomination is not enough for any of us here to give you an educated evaluation. At the very least we need the complete serial number, including prefix & suffix letters and a general assessment of the condition. Pictures would be great. Edited to add, I recently saw a thread on a different forum and the subject and wording appears a lot like this thread, which isn't unusual.
