I found this quarter in some change that was given to me at some point. Has anyone ever seen anything like this? Also, note on the eagle side the small perfectly centered indention between the eagle's legs. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you....

To CCF! PSD. Not an error coin. Impossible to happen at the U.S Mint, doesn't work that way. can be safely spent, since it's only worth face value.

Thank you for responding. But, would a nail gun cause one size hole in the nickle and a smaller hole in the copper?
