Hi All, I have recently purchased this coin purely because I liked the obverse (dangerous I know) but am struggling to give it any identity as it is not one I am familiar with, nor able to find... I might well be having a momentary 'man look' as my wife would say
Any help you may be able to give me would be amazing.
Many thanks

This is possibly my favorite series from the late Roman bronze coinage. The bronze VLPP's were issued shortly after Constantine's 1st civil war with Licinius and this type from Siscia was struck in territory that Constantine had just taken control over. I have some pages on this type if you are interested-- http://www.constantinethegreatcoins.com/sis/
