Your coin was struck at the U.S. Mint in 1931, 200,000 were minted. It is 90% silver with a weight of 26.73 grams, same as a U.S. silver dollar. Grade looks EF-40 details, as it had an older cleaning.
I really appreciate the info, IGE. Very interesting that it was minted in US. This is a coin that was found in an estate grouping and I'm providing info as best I can.

Looks like this coin would be worth about 25-30 dollars in this condition?
Thanks to everyone for the interesting info. I did a little researching about the engravers. Obverse designer was Panamanian artist Roberto Lewis. Reverse designer was William Clark Noble who also worked on other foreign coins.
Is it me or does the lady look like she just finished flying a plane wearing a see-through nightie?
