Good Afternoon,

Here are some of the Wheat Pennies that are going to be sold in the near future, I know the pictures may stink, but can someone tell me a rough grade for them and a decent guess at worth?

These are a sample of set that runs from the mid 1930's through 1958 but all of them look like this sample here. Please note the scratch on the 1943 is on the plastic case not the coin.

Thanks,

Brett

Very difficult to grade coins through plastic without professional photos. Can't really see the surface detail well on any of these. I'll pass.

I agree with GrapeCollects, but I think the steel cent is maybe a little lower because it doesn't have much luster.

As already stated seeing coins inside a plastic cover makes it difficult to accurately note the grade.
Rest in Peace

. But off hand looks like a couple of uncirculated coins. Sorry can't give a grade. Don't expect to get much unless they grade out to at least MS-66 .

Can't really see enough from the pictures to give accurate grades but these are probably in the 64-65RD range. These grades are readily available from the mid-30's, so while there's some value there, it's not tremendous value. You can look these up on ebay to get some idea of pricing. $10-20 for the mid 30s with a few up into the $30+ range; $5-10 for the 40s and $5 or under for the 50s is my general experience with pricing unless you happen to have a really high grade example 66-67.

Low luster is characteristic of 1943 LWC's.
Standard surfaces look like a matte finish.
If they have more luster there's a strong chance that they've been reprocessed.
