Before sending in to be slabbed maybe get an approximate grade. I will follow up with a grade for the community when I get it back. (This coin is from an unopened roll from the San Francisco Mint ... grease mark on reverse is somehow mint related)

Nice clash,but not worth the expenses involved to have slabbed...IMHO. Also,congrats on 100 posts...contest time?

Yeah, what John1 says. I mean you can send whatever you want to get slabbed but the cost will likely be more than what this coin is worth if you sold it afterwards. It's always up to you to do it or not, pepole get things graded all the time that will lose when they go to sell it later.

That reverse smudge kinda does it in. If you do have it slabbed. Look for one of ANACS summer specials. They have so real nice ones. That obverse is very nice and about as nice a strike as you are going to get on a 68-S.
