A couple of things...
- The mintage figures for these coins has been discussed several times here on CCF. A quick search should turn them up for you.
- The mintage figures listed by the
RCM on the sales page for each of its coins is the maximum number it will produce, not the number it has actually struck.
- The sales/mintage figures vary for each of the WBC silver (and gold) coins - per the 2013
RCM Annual Report, the silver coin sales figures range from 864 to 1,405. They're absent from the 2014 Report even though I believe they were still being sold in 2014. The lack of 2014 reporting has always made the sales figures reported in 2013 tough to accept as the final mintage figures for the coins.
- One problem with these coins (and many others produced by the
RCM) is that they are not part of a cohesive, ongoing series that drives collectors to seek them out to complete their set. Thus, they were not in great demand when released and they're not in great demand now. If the WBC stops operations in the future (a possibility), even fewer future collectors will be driven to seek out the coins.
