The gash or piece of metal has been raised, so it's not a cut as far as I know. Thoughts?

Looks like a hit to me, the metal possibly being pushed up. Can we get a close up of the area?

That seems like a very common place for die cracks, chips, and RIDBs to form. I guess that is why we see so many "cracked skulls".

What would be a good nickname for this coin? I would like to give it some sort of specialty. Don't think it would be a "cracked skull," as it's in the hair.
