KeenEye New Member United States 22 Posts	Posted 11/22/2021 11:13 am I went to the bank yesterday to get some quarter rolls and decided to ask if they had any halves available. The teller said yes, so instead of 5 rolls of quarters, I took home 5 rolls of customer rolled halves. I didn't bother to look at the ends until I got home. Wow! Two rolls had a Benjamin ender! From the 5 rolls I found 5 Benjamin's (1952D, 1950D, 1963D (2) and a 1963D. For the Kennedy's I found a nice 1968D, a 1969D and a 1983-S Proof Kennedy. Nice haul. I'm heading back to that branch today to see if they have any additional rolls (and I'll be doing my best to buy all of them) Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6381 Posts	Posted 01/19/2022 1:43 pm $40 worth of assorted halves from a local bank included 4 silver-clads plus a 2005-P NIFC half. I didn't keep the 2017-D, 2018-D, and 2020-D coins I found since they apparently aren't scarce at all. Not a lot of silver, but far better than nothing! Report this Post to the Staff

A $240 buy of rolls at a local Wells Fargo did yield 17 silver-clad halves dating 1966-1969D. I'd love to post more frequently but I'll have to find more silver first.
