Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 09/10/2008 1:48 pm Sheldon 223 R-1 Believe it or not this was the fourth variety struck in 1802. It uses the same reverse as 1802 S-228. The obverse most likely has a nice Cud through the top of RT and possibly reaching the Y. It may also have asmall Cud above IB. If it has a large Cud at the end of the bust then you have a rare very late die state. Report this Post to the Staff
