1964 Mint Set Grading? - Coin Community Forum

Ive researched but just keep coming up with different answers so I decided to ask the experts... Can I get the whole set graded without taking it out the package? T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 08/09/2019 08:30 am It's kind of useless to offer a grade on these 1964 mint set coins while in their OMP . Forget about having the whole set graded intact . You can remove the coins and then show us photos of each one both sides . But like I've said in a previous thread , most U.S.mint sets didn't have the high quality uncirculated coins in them as you would expect . I found that a lot of the mint set coins were MS-63 and 64 . Honestly, it's a beautiful set but probably not worth spending a bunch of grading fees on. The best course of action IMO would be to immediately move all the coins into individual airtite holders.
