This is the fourth (final?) variety in the group of 11.

1945d RPM-010 Stage B (D/D WEST)
VV LINK http://www.varietyvista.com/05%20JN...5DRPM010.htm .
This wasn't as easy as the DDO's in the group because of how many RPM's there are in the war year nickels.
I finally narrowed it down to RPM-010. There aren't a lot of images to compare to but I think I got the MM location correct and the secondary matches. Hope my images show this one well enough.
I'm not really seeing any die cracks in the hair for stage B or C. I'm thinking my coin is early stage B or even stage A since the obv is EDS or MDS (judging by the steps in image 7) before the die crack in the hair started, unless of course this is a completely different RPM.
All comments about the variety, die stage or anything else is appreciated and welcome. Thanks for looking.

To show you something new about taking your images, could try having the light from the right side of the coin to allow the light to fall over that device, instead of spotlighting the device on the left side. I think you will see a big difference. Give it a try and post it here. If you have to rotate the image to horizontal again do that. I believe you will be happier with the image. Thanks.

I'm going to look hard at and try your suggestions since your images are always so nice.
Do you mean right side of the device or just from a lower angle, as opposed to overhead?

Because my main light source is always on the right side of the coin with my setup. I just rotate the coin to try and get the areas I'm trying to highlight, to show up.

One of my biggest issues I keep running into is the size of the screen on my phone makes it hard to see if I have captured the important areas clearly until I copy them from Google images into my PC with "Paint". Sometimes it's a real head scratcher wondering what I was seeing through the lens.
Another part of my problem is I take images all times of day and night so the light strength and wave length varies. (Natural light, incandescent and floro.)
Thanks again everyone.

Correct. Not a low angle. Just allow the light to fall across a little from off center.
