This appears to be an ancient Greek coin. 8.6g and 21mm. EY to the left of the eagle, another symbol below that, and possible letters between eagle's legs. The front appears to have a bust but is not in great shape.
It's a bronze obol of one of the Ptolemys, minted in Cyprus. The head is Alexander wearing an elephantskin headdress instead of the usual lion (this is the Ptolemys trying to identify themselves with Africa). Looks like this one of Ptolemy II:
Ptolemy II Philadelphos, 285-246 BC, Salamis (Cyprus) mint Alexander the Great right, wearing elephant scalp headdress; ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕ#8486;Σ legend, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, head left, wings closed, EY over XAP monogram left.
