That is your classic Machine Doubling. The strike happened with a normal die and the movement after the strike damaged the devices. There is also an issue with the die that struck your coin. The die was in its VLDS (Very-Late-Die-State) when your coin was struck. Neither adds any value to this coin. So it is spendable.
