Just bought 6 x 1-ounce Platinum Maple Leaves. Cost about U.S.$6,500.
Current buy/sell spread 8%, quite a bit more than gold.
I just love that tiny laser etched maple leaf security device.

But I bought them for the same reason that Jaobler did.

My first Pt buy was a 1-ounce Koala bought waaay back in 1996. I still have it. Clean sailed straight through the 2008 GFC with it!
