I came across this 1943d steel pennies roll hunting and the color just seems off the penny is almost perfect condition what causes this I can't get a image that does it justice it is blueish grey it obviously has not been heated
It doesn't really have that high gloss shine for a reprocessed cent , but at this time I can't think of any other reason why it would look like this . So I'll go with reprocessed .
This cent actually came out of a Wells Fargo roll from the late 50's early 60s that my late grand father had several of I have read that some of the old roll wrappers possibaly could cause this toning it there any truth to that
