AU53. Eye Appeal 5/10. Nice field luster.

Because of the large field areas and open design elements the Franklin half can be deceptive to grade, especially from photos only.

If you like Franklin's I would suggest looking on any site that has lots of them graded by NGC and PCGS. Concentrate on the high AU 55 & 58, and the MS 63, 64, 65. After reviewing a few hundred it will begin to make sense on the grading of this type.

Hits and dings, unless severe enough to details a Coin, do not affect circulated numerical grade.

They do effect eye appeal and value, but they do not effect grade until MS-60-70.
