1975 25 Cents Clipped Planchet - Specimen Strike

SilverDon Pillar of the Community Canada 2360 Posts	Posted 08/15/2019 8:18 pm I received this clipped coin today, it was in such great shape I was looking at the perfect straight and well formed denticles and some striations in the fields and square rims, square between V shaped grooves on rim edges. It appears a Specimen strike to me, how would they miss this clip in a specimen? There is a nice Blakesley Effect and a bit of a collar clash on the rim at that area. I took some closeups and some with glare to show the striations. All comments welcome. Report this Post to the Staff
