This was sad to see on the reverse. Looked like coin had vf sharpness but what kind of money is it worth with the circular indent on reverse that was most likely caused by a type of coin bank.

common date. ungradable due to the PMD on the reverse. value is melt. too bad as its XF and as it could possibly be cleaned up with an acetone soak

Coins with this type of damage on a common date make them space fillers at near melt value.

1903S is not what I would call a common date. Price for xf straight grade on NGC price guide is $800. Mintage was only 613,300.. I still think its worth more than melt but we shall see

Based on ebay sales of lower grade detail coins, I'd guess it might sell for between $50 and $100.

Zurie is right on the money literally. Sold in 1 day on ebay for $75. Well done Zurie. All those that said common date melt value not so much.
