It appears that this nickel was minted with a 1964 d nickel back and the front of a 1968 d nickel. The front mint mark is faint but visible. Is it possible?

Sorry but I just don't see a MM on the obverse , just the reverse .

I see the one on the reverse. I think whatever your seeing on the obverse is PSD.
