Die dent it is. I was under the impression that dents happened before the dies were collared. Apparently they can be dented while they are stamping planchets. Learn something new almost daily on here. I really appreciate your's and everyone else help on this one. Any ideas on the what caused the ridges on the "86" I posted before this one ? Or even die collars dinging the hammer die if they get misaligned. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
