@11997755, right location for a Cud, but did you try to depress it with a wooden toothpick to confirm that it isn't a plating bubble?

I would say no to a Cud. Gas bubble, maybe.Die dent, maybe. Hard plating debris is my guess. John1

Here is an image of a different one with the rim in better shape. It's definitely something on the die. EDIT: added a third one I found. This one is pretty clean.

My wife walked by when I was looking at the image. She squinted, looked at it for a bit, and said "That's a really small Cud. Maybe it should be called a cuddle." Then she grinned and walked away. Don't shoot the messenger . . .

Next time my wife asks for a cuddle, I'm thinking I shouldn't show her this.

Can't be a Cud, the shape and form isn't correct. Probably just a weirdly shaped Die Dent.
Errers and Varietys.

Quote: Next time my wife asks for a cuddle, I'm thinking I shouldn't show her this Probably would not be a good idea. Not sure what to make of this: I am finding some from the same die without the abnormally. I think this would rule out a die dent unless it happened after the die was in the collar. Is it possible for the die to receive a dent after it is in the collar ?

Quote: Looks a lot like this one. CU-1c-2015-02 How was that one even listed?! I'd say that one is a die dent too.

I'm sure a die dent can occur after it's placed in the collar. Just like how die gouges, scratches, and Feeder Finger Damage can just "pop up" during the life of the die.

Still cool if it's a dent cause I have a pair of before it happened and after it happened.
