I'm a lifelong coin enthusiast, stacker & collector (I'm 52), and from time to time i'll see something on a coin & my eyes try to get me to believe it's something that it's not. it still happens, and it can happen to anyone, even to the best eyes. the longer you're on the hunt, the more coins that pass through your hands, the better you get with being able to discern coin errors. keep looking! there is so much out there to find, and you've got a huge advantage by using this forum to guide you.. all these very knowledgable & helpful ppl (with who knows how many total accumulated years of collector experience) in your pocket!
coop, you never cease to amaze me with your posts & images. I had never heard of such a thing. I didn't know there's a technical name for 'you're just seeing things' (i mean aside from 'mirage', 'stoned', 'drunk', etc). worthy of a screenshot & saving. thanks!
