Not really in my normal zone, but I picked this up today for $150. Seemed a darn good price for an MS-64 strong variety and didn't have any of these in the collection.

Poor images but it's a double whammy on me as not a copper coin and in a slab, two things I don't photograph often.

Awesome purchase and pickup tropicalbats! By the way, how much do circulated raw examples go for?

Don't really know. Thousands of these were collected in B/U condition in and around Toledo, Ohio right after they came out so lots of MS out there and not so many circulated ones come up for sale.

You're a hardcore collector. I can't see myself spending that much on a coin. It's a nice one for sure!

Rookie, True, I am a hardcore collector, but... I self-fund my entire collection by buying, selling, finding and trading coins with no outside input of money. If I had to, I could sell that 1982 at a profit right now, so I don't see it as a purchase rather than an investment. For now it becomes a great addition to my collection, and shortly I will be tossing a bunch of stuff on ebay to cover buying it and some of the other things I've been picking up. I don't sell during the summer when I am doing my bat work so funds are running low and time to switch gears again to selling things.

tropicalbats, that's awesome. I'm afraid I might become a hardcore collector one day. I'm liking this hobby WAY too much, always researching and trying to learn as much as I can. All my free time goes to CRH and drinking haha

I need to chill
