coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/22/2019 08:55 am The crud is/was on the coin since the strike. I've seen this on OBW roll coinage. It happened at the mint. It doesn't happen often, but I've seen this before. Removing it would probably show a different color on the coins original color. I would like before and after images.
