1990 P Jefferson (Nickel missing FS)
I know there is a verity missing FS on the 90D
but was unable to find any info on the 90P missing the FS.
Please let me know what you think

I have one too. Mine is a 1990 D which does get mentioned as a collectible here and there every now and then. I'd say it's a keeper.

I actually have one of these in my collection that I bought a while back on ebay, from a good friend of mine, from CCF, maybe last year or something? I looked at the picture you took, and I can't see the initials at all, so I think you have it.

John1, you're correct. It can be caused by both.

Grease Filled Die maybe.
Over polished don't think so.
With 661,636,000 minted this error should be common but its not.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say it's because of very low chance of having either of those things completely take out the fg. It's not rare to find them with weak or hardly noticeable fg's, but not even being able to see a weak impression under a scope? That doesn't happen very often.

I overlayed an image of another 1990 P and found that the S is still there just week.
1990-P-Jefferson-Nickel-Missing-Fs

So week that it was easy to miss.
