1926 Buffalo Nickel-Misplaced Mint Mark D

vintagegirl2019 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 08/23/2019 11:10 am I recently came across this nickel in a 20th century nickel collection. I noticed the "d" was in an unusual place on the coin and not below the five cents. I initially thought perhaps it was damage from circulation, but the letter appears to be punched. Any thoughts?
