From my understanding, 1982 pennies have both copper Large number varieties and non-copper Small Number varities.

I was weighing my 1982 cents and found 2 that weighed 2.5g...
...one was the expected small number variety

... the second appears to have Large numbers.

All 20 other 1982 pennies I have have large numbers and weighed about 3-3.1g

Does this coin count as an error coin? Do you agree, this is a non-copper large number variety?

This coin website list 7 of the 8 varieties. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...es/1982.html
The valuable 8th variety is the 1982 D Copper Small Date.

Agreed with levelsofmadnes. Look for the Copper 1982 Denver Small Date Cent. It should weigh 3.1 grams, if it's the real deal on the 1982 Denver Small Date Cent.
