Medieval Europe, 15th century, give or take, at first glance, based on the lettering. I think the second photo should be rotated clockwise 90 degrees, which puts the cross in the legend at 12:00, and makes it look like a double barred cross (Hungary) with the lower bar worn away?

What is the diameter, and weight?

Bumping this to get some more eyes on it, and hopefully a more definitive attribution.
My earlier comment, I was thinking of a coin like this:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces34127.html
But on lionwarrior's coin, the legends do not look at all similar (Hungary coins of this era with double barred cross seem to have either MONETA or REGIS as the word in legend starting from top of the double barred cross, and I dont see this).

Of course I am also guessing a worn double barred cross for the reverse, and maybe there are other options.

@lionwarrior, I forgot that there were parts of Spain that also used the double-barred cross.

You coin appears to be this late 15th c. dinero from the Kingdom of Aragon: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces123661.html If each of your photos is rotated about 90 degrees clockwise, the legends will match up with those in the link
