Hey you long-timers, I've come across a double-stacked D mint mark on a '92 LMC. I can't find any precedence on this thing AT ALL. I've been through Wexler's, Brian's, Variety Vista, others and can't find even any die Mark references to a '92 period. Any direction would be much appreciated! I'm almost scared to post a pic

They stopped hand punching mint marks in 1990, so it would be impossible for it to be a D/D. What your seeing is most likely zinc rot around the mint mark, which is common for Lincoln cents around that time and can make it look like an RPM.
