1999 September Mule Errors?

Hello. This is my first post. :)

I acquired a 1999 September mule quarter out of a pack and it looks flawed. There are 3 silver dots or holes on the coin and a fine hair like scratch coming out of one of the heads.

I will post photos when I get home but has anyone heard of any other mules with flaws?

I noticed that some other coins in this 1999 series seem to have these dots appear.
