Hi

Does anyone have any idea what this coin is? One one side it looks like it says "Dovrr" and 1994. But the coin looks older, unless its a replica or says 994.

The design of the coin is copied from an Athelred II penny from the 10th century, and the legend on the obverse reads "Edelred Rex Angl" - Aethelred king of England.
The reverse reads "994-1994 Andover" - this is a replica coin made at some historical gathering in Andover in 1994. There are a number of people doing these events demonstrating how hammered coins were made and they are not designed to deceive but occasionally get confused with the real thing.
