Came across this nickel in an inherited collection. The nickel's features appear very well defined, more so then other nickels from that year. Could this be a proof strike or maybe a special strike? Opinions please!

and always ask us about the rest of the coins in your inheritance . You were way off on thinking that coin could be a proof .

Especially with collections inherited, you want to show the entire coin, face on, both sides. It may have been saved as

an RPM.
