I have this 1964 P LMC and I know that it has been stuck through a piece of cloth as you can see the weaved material mark left behind. The date looks thick but have yet to find a match but the most interesting thing to me is above the word STATES on the reverse. Its either a very cool die break or a mule clash. It isn't a clash from the obverse because the lines do not match up. Cool cent regardless and is going in a 2x2. This thing has a lot of things going on!

Thanks Rookie The more I look the more I believe it's not a mule clash.

I sent pics of this cent to Mike Diamond. He agrees it was probably struck though a piece of cloth. I also told him that I thought the area above the word STATES on the reverse may be some kind of die crack. He's not sure what that is but doesn't feel as if it's a die crack. He asked me to send it to him so I did. I Look forward to hearing his analysis.
