Is this an error? I think there is a lot of rust on this penny and this is the softest penny I've ever touched. I expected it to be underweight, but it normally weighs 2.53 grams. I also want a grade so while you're answering whether you think its an error or not, can you try to give it a grade? Thanks. Suggestions for what to do with it would be appreciated as well.

If you want me to take better pictures with my phone let me know. Thanks. (My brother said he found this at the gym he works at.)

Smoothest thing I ever touched, and no sign of dirt. You sure it's not an error or something?

Ever touched glass?

I'm 100 percent sure it's not an error. If you like the coin and know it's a error, may I suggest you get it authenticated by 3rd party service.

Like I said in previous thread, I'm about 80 percent wrong, so take my opinion with grain of salt.

Maybe others will chime in and give you their opinion

Hard smack - probably intentional.

If you don't metal detect, don't blame what coins look like to burial.

PMD. You'll see this effect a lot on Dryer Coins, extremely smooth, design missing, zinc exposed.
