The label says 1944-s but the coin is clearly a 1945-s.

Grape works at a coin shop.

Most curious that the seller didn't see the mistake. I contacted him.

Heck, send it back to the TPG for correction on their "dime".
But I don't see the die rotation mentioned in the listing unless the ~5° angle is what he was talking about.

He did indeed change it after my reply, and said (with thanks) that it has been listed for several months like this without comment!

Simple mechanical error that would be fixed for free

Definitely not anything worth mentioning. Needs to be at least 15 degrees to mention and even that is pretty minor.

Oh man, you work at a coin shop?!?!? If I worked at a coin shop, my entire pay check would go towards coins! Plus you probably get an employee discount! I wouldn't have time to help customers, I'd be looking at coins for my collection all day long!!

I'm jealous!!

1/3 goes to Uncle Sam, 1/3 goes to a car fund, well, the last third goes right back to the boss.

I do variaties and errors for the store. Since we lost an employee to the start of the school year, I'm listing stuff now as well.

Would PCGS pay for shipping to and from, along with insurance to and from?
