If I ask for some rolls at a store or a bank, or if I tell one of my children to "Get that penny out of your mouth!", I call them pennies. The people at the store, bank, and my children are clueless, blind and ignorant to the world of coin collecting. They don't know, so it's excusable. I guess it's all a matter of professionalism...
