Hi all,

Last new posting for the day. This is a 1913 type 1 S Nickel in my collection. What grade do you think it is? I am thinking of resubmission.

thank you.

Nice coin but you have to eliminate all that glare when you take photos . Can't quite give proper grade .

There seems to be some sort of hit or graze behind the eye (obverse).
The lettering seems to be quite indistinct, especially 'LIBERTY', and 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' (- worn dies?)

In high MS grades, I have seen more detail in the buffalo's side area. (- worn dies?)

I'll be away for a vacation, but I tried this morning with my set up to take better pictures. The plastic holder makes it very tough to get a decent shot without the glare. I will try again when I return. Close-ups might work better....

I can't see any wear in these pictures.
If you re submit it will be interesting for , to know if there is any significant difference.

Potential value may well be justified in this case.

I agree better photos are needed. Crop them a little closer to the coin as well if you can.

I spent more than an hour trying to get better pictures with the usb microscope. Glare off the plastic. Even with no light from the microscope and outside light, it had glare. The coin is graded au58 by PCGS, but I see no wear. And the coin is nice for the year and mm. My 1913s type 2 in au58 is equally nice, but it does have a tiny bit of friction, so I wont resubmit that, but this one I might. We will see. I will try to get decent photos once more when I am back from vacation.
