New here and just started to try my hand at identifying coins and was wondering if this was a 1984-D LMC DDO?

To CCF! Sorry, but unfortunately you don't have a Doubled Die Obverse. Normal coin.

If you want to do research on actual listed Doubled Dies, I would suggest you visit http://www.doubleddie.com.

I was trying to compare it to the ones I saw there (the 8's looked similar in shape) but the rest of the coin was too worn for my eye to make any out any other similarities. Thanks again for your expertise :)
