Hello fellow collectors!
I guess I'll start by saying that I think it's pretty incredible that there are over 37 thousand collectors of varying knowledge and skill gathered in a place that actively communicates! I didn't come from a family of active coin collectors, nor do I have a single person to bounce ideas off of each time I "think I found something."
Between my poor husband and my employees, who all have no idea what I'm talking about 99% of the time, I'm surprised any of them pretend to care anymore... (I imagine there's a handful of you all that can relate!)
I always end up on this site when I'm attempting to research an unattributed error, and for the most part I haven't seen an abundance of negative comments. I'm terribly insecure about posting photos and questions, and I hope I can get over that! I've found some pretty interesting coins over the years!
Ok, for my interests... Lincoln Cents and errors of any kind are my number one loves... I have both US and world coins and some tokens. I also keep star notes if I look them up and they are more rare.
I've learned a lot, mostly the hard way, over the years and I'm eager for more knowledge. I hope I can be helpful in the future, as well as be aided in my own journey.

Welcome to the forum! I truly loved reading your post. As yourself, I run into the same situation from family, friends and co-workers who know nothing about coinage. So you are not alone there. The fact that you love your coins should be all the reason needed to share a photo or two from time to time as they will be welcomed openly. After all, we are a "family" community as the title states.
