Krause on the other hand indicates by his pricing (which is of course only a rough guide) that the coin is worth under $20. If you like the coin. the price and attribution as 1722 from the Maldive Islands fantastic. I love the rare but obscure coinage as well (I collect circulating counterfeit coins made at the time the originals circulated.) Rarity is not an automatic guarantee of value but if your purpose is history and coin collecting is a hobby you have made out well. Enjoy your find. Report this Post to the Staff
